Kick off Summer with a Treasure Hunt featuring over 40+ locations and other events by Land and Sea!

Get Your Maps at Port Royal and participating locations throughout Buckeye Lake during the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest weekend May 16-18, 2025.

The Buckeye Lake Pirate Treasure Hunt by Land and Sea is a featured Event May 16-18, 2025! Pirate Fest Treasure Maps will be handed out at the Port Royal / the Harbor Community Center and participating local area businesses while supplies last. Treasure Hunt locations will also be published on the website and will be available during the event.

The Treasure Maps will identify 40+ business locations with a red X that will each have a drawing for a treasure chest with content customized by each business.

5000+ FREE Treasure maps will be distributed for participants to use to go around the lake stopping where an X marks the location of treasure!

The Treasure Maps will be two sided and show Treasure Hunt locations accessible by land and sea (via Buckeye Lake).

Your goal is to visit as many locations as you can during Pirate Fest May 16-18, 2025 to register to win the Treasure Chest at each location and shop, enjoy dining and other opportunities at each business venue.

Maps To The Treasure Chests!

Treasure Maps will be distributed at 40 participating Treasure Hunt locations in the Buckeye Lake area; while supplies last.

Port Royal will be the primary location where maps will be distributed. There will be TWO Treasure Chests at Port Royal that you may register to win. Your challenge is to ﬁnd them!

You must be at least 18 years old to register and only 1 entry per person is allowed at each location. You may register to win multiple Treasure Chests however registrants will be limited to winning only 1 Treasure Chest. Other rules apply and will be posted at each Treasure Hunt location and online.

Each participating location will have set open hours to accept registration forms during Pirate Fest May 16-18, 2025. Check the Treasure Map for their open registration entry hours at each business.
