Find Yer Treasure, Scallywags!

The Buckeye Lake Pirate Treasure Hunt by Land and Sea is a featured Event!   Pirate Fest Treasure Maps will be handed out at the Port Royal / the Harbor Community Center and participating local area businesses.  The Treasure Maps will identify up to 40 business locations with a red X that will each have a drawing for a treasure chest with over $150 value in cash, gift cards and merchandise – contents will be customized by their business. Includes the custom handmade Treasure Chest ($50 value) for each winner.

5000 FREE Treasure maps will be distributed for participants to use to go around the lake stopping where an X marks the location of treasure! 

The maps will be two sided, with treasure by land and sea.  You’ll be able to go to 20 locations by boat by following your treasure map and all 40 locations by car (all locations will be accessible to land). 

Your goal is to visit as many locations as you can on Saturday May 18, 2024!

Many participating area businesses will offer food and retail specials and sport pirate attire or decorations at their venues during the event.

PARTICIPATING TREASURE HUNT BUSINESSES

2024 Pirate Treasure Hunt – PARTICIPATION RULES

• Participants must be 18 or older in order to enter the Pirate Treasure Chest drawing.

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

• Participant will only register themselves, or assist others to register, while physically present at Treasure Hunt business.

• Family members and employees of this Treasure Hunt business are not eligible to win this treasure chest.

• Entrants click on this QR code above and fill out contact information, then click submit to enter to win
this treasure chest.

• To enter without using this QR code, fill out paper form and place it in this Treasure Chest.  Buckeye Events will enter your information through this QR code and send you an email confirmation you’ve been entered.

• On or about May 21, 2024 Buckeye Events will run a random generator report and select a winner from all entries received from the QR code submission form.

• Winners will be notified by Treasure Hunt business on or before May 30, 2024.

• The Winner agrees to make all necessary arrangements with the Treasure Hunt business to collect the Treasure Chest and related items (or alternative prize) by June 30, 2024. 

• This Treasure Chest is the grand prize for this Treasure Hunt location.

• If unable to collect these items in person: the Treasure Hunt business may offer an alternative prize to
the Winner.   Unclaimed prizes will be forfeit on or after July 1, 2024.

• Only one entry per Treasure Hunt location. Winner can only win one Treasure Chest and if their name is drawn at another location, then they are ineligible to win another Treasure Chest from another location.

• Treasure Hunt business has no obligation to provide or plan for shipping; but may do so at their discretion.

• Participant agrees to receive promotional emails from the Treasure Hunt business as well as those from Buckeye Events also known as Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest.

• Participant agrees to all the above rules and is thus qualified to enter drawing via scanning QR Code or submitting paper registration form.

• The list of winners will be displayed on the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest website.
